Artistic Consulting for Musicians and Artists by Richard Lange

Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions?
What direction should I take with my art?
What do I want to accomplish as a musician?
What are my goals and objectives for creating art or music?
Where would I like to be with my art form in one year?
What resources do I have available for me to use?
How can I honestly assess my past accomplishments?
Do I have a vision? A rationale? A purpose? A manifesto?
How can I best organize my fine arts career?
Who can help me answer these and other similar questions?

If you need help with any of these questions, you could benefit greatly from the expertise gleaned from a personal consultation with Richard Lange.

For several years, Richard E. Lange has worked closely with artists and musicians to help them focus and pull together their goals and objectives related to their music and artistic talents. Richard works with fine arts persons by helping them look inwardly to create goals and objectives along with a mission statement. He then helps artists and musicians design their own set of activities to accomplish their goals and use periodic assessments to check their progress.

Alternative arts education for children and adults by Thom Frerk and Richard Lange

As a alternative arts organization, FOTA believes it is important children learn about alternative art. Children are exposed to contemporary art through public sculpture and paintings often before they learn about traditional art forms. Learning about these forms will not only enrich their arts experience but be valuable in their approach to traditional art other curriculum and societal and environmental interaction.

Thomas Frerk has a degree in design, has worked with the Art Institute, Field Museum, Museum of contemporary art, Evanston and Chicago, Park Districts, Chicago Office of Special Events, Chicago Artist Association Panel for Grants (CAAP), the Rosenwald School, and several north suburban school districts. He has been a member of the Chicago Artists Coalition (CAC) and a member and Co-Director of FOTA since 1992. He is also the Head Curator and Owner of Dix Art Mix.
